Control 4, a global leader in home automation and smart control solutions, were awarded no fewer than three Consumer Technology Association TechHome Mark of Excellence Awards at the recently completed CES 2018 tech show in Las Vegas.
Presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to recognise the best products in custom integration and installed technology across more than 30 categories, the three Mark of Excellence Awards taken home by Control 4 were the Home Automation Product of the Year, Audio Product of the Year, and Best Education Program of the Year awards.
One of the most prestigious awards on offer, the Home Automation Product of the Year award was secured for Control 4 by the company’s newly released OS 2.10 with 4Sight smart home software update. That update offers more support options for native music streaming services and greater flexibility for homeowners to personalise their systems through When >>Then Automation.
Control 4’s Audio Product of the Year victory was delivered by the company’s Triad One Streaming Amplifier. A single-zone, high-resolution, wired and wireless streaming amplifier, the Triad One functions as an amplifier, streaming sound system, and a music controller within a Control4 smart home. The company’s third and final award, meanwhile, was given to the Pakedge Certified Network Administrator Program (PCNA).
Speaking in light of the awards at CES 2018, Control 4’s CEO Martin Plaehn was understandably delighted:
‘It is an honor [sic] to win these awards. In a year flooded with new products and technologies, the recognition for Control4 truly validates our dedicated efforts to deliver a comprehensive connected home experience for dealers and end-user customers alike.’
