Crestron, a global market leader in enterprise control and automation technology, have been hitting the headlines with a whole host of new product launches of late. One such is their announcement of new 3-Series 4K60 DigitalMedia Presentation Systems, named the DMPS3-4K-350-C and the DMPS3-4K-250-C.
The new models, an addition to Crestron’s existing DMP3 Series, add built-in Crestron AirMedia (AM-101) for wireless presentation functionality and a higher-powered amplifier, as well as 4K60, full support for HDCP 2.2, and Control Subnet. Like the existing solutions within the range, too, the new systems incorporate an IP-based 3-Series Control System.
The additional AirMedia gateway built into the DMPS3-4K-350-C and the DMPS3-4K-250-C, meanwhile, allows wireless presentation through a room’s Wi-Fi network of content from a PC, laptop, smart phone or tablet device. In order to be able to transmit from any resolution source to any resolution display, what’s more, the two new systems boast scaled HDMI outputs.
On the audio side, too, the new 3-Series models are equipped to meet all possible needs. They each provide breakaway audio routing, surround sound pass-through, six-channel mic mixing, and a new higher powered integrated amplifier, alongside built-in audio DSP and codec mixing.
The new DMPS3-4K-350-C and DMPS3-4K-250-C, therefore, represent two exciting new all in one presentation systems. That is at least according to Crestron’s executive director of business development, Steve Samson:
‘Crestron has raised the bar for all-in-one presentation systems once again… With the addition of these two new flagship models, debuting at InfoComm 2017, the DMPS3 Series delivers even more functionality and high performance.’
