Crestron, a world leading home automation and enterprise technology specialist, have in the past few days launched their new Horizon Keypads.
The highly anticipated new line of keypads are available to order from Crestron, according to the company’s announcement, and are expected to ship in the EMEA region from mid-June onwards.
The Horizon line of keypads are available in single gang models which can combine up to four across, in order to be highly configurable and to suit a multitude of installation environments.
According to Crestron, too, the new keypads offer designer aesthetics, superior button feel and four different button styles to cater for different design requirements and preferences.
Programmable multi-colour backlighting and interchangeable custom top and bottom trim pieces further add to the impressive aesthetic features of the keypads, which also boast Cresnet wired communications.
Cresnet is the communications backbone for Horizon keypads, and is a simple, yet flexible 4-wire network that provides bidirectional communication and 24VDC power for Cresnet devices.
Given all of the above features of the Horizon Keypads, it is not hard to understand why Crestron’s global residential marketing manager, Michael Short, is particularly positive about the new line:
‘These stunningly beautiful keypads provide Crestron residential dealers, as well as interior designers and architects, with incredible flexibility in both control and design… Inviting to the touch and appealing to the eye, Horizon keypads deliver a premier user experience combined with bespoke design for homeowners.’
