Crestron Named Official AV, Lighting and DigitalMedia Partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame & Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village
Crestron, world leading providers of automation and smart control solutions for residential and commercial spaces, has this past week been named as the official AV, lighting and DigitalMedia distribution partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio.
The deal marks a 15 year agreement between Crestron and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which celebrates the greats of the game of American Football, and has been described as an endeavour to create the first ever sports and entertainment ‘Smart City’.
A nearly $800 million mixed use development, the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village is aimed at being opening in 2020 to coincide with the centennial of the National Football League. Amongst the village’s impressive features will be a major stadium, a four star hotel and a whole host of other facilities. As per this most recent announcement, Crestron will be providing the audio visual, lighting and control solutions for all of those spaces.
Unsurprisingly Crestron were delighted to announce the new link up with the Hall of Fame and their CEO, Randy Klein, spoke in glowing terms about the partnership:
‘It’s a great day for Crestron…The Pro Football Hall of Fame is an organisation that epitomises excellence, high values and character – the exact same principles we guide our business by every day. We’re proud and honoured [sic] to be their partner, and look forward to our relationship for many years to come.’
