Crestron, a world leading manufacturer of meeting and conference room products as well as home automation devices, have in the past week showcased a wide range of new enterprise solutions.
The many new products and innovations unveiled by the company at the InfoComm 2018 trade show in Las Vegas included the new Crestron XiO Cloud, new AirMedia Wireless Presentation Systems and new scheduling-only touchscreens.
The XiO Cloud platform is described by Crestron as a ‘revolutionary Cloud-based provisioning and management solution’. Built on the Microsoft Azure platform, XiO Cloud enables organisations to simultaneously configure and deploy an unlimited number of Crestron products. That allows IT managers proactively resolve events remotely to prevent lost work time, and gather actionable usage data, all with no programming required.
Also debuted at InfoComm, Crestron’s AM-300 and AM-200 AirMedia Wireless Presentation systems both boast built-in AirMedia 2.0 technology. AirMedia 2.0 is the fastest, easiest, most manageable, and secure wireless presentation technology, according to Crestron. The new systems, therefore, enable organisations to increase workflow and facilitate collaboration by turning lobbies, lounges, and other open spaces into productive meeting spaces.
Crestron’s new TSS-7 and TSS-10 room scheduling-only touch screens were also unveiled last week in Las Vegas. The touch screens feature native partner room booking and an optional Room Availability Light Bar. Designed as a simplified version of the company’s award-winning TSW range of touch screens, the new scheduling-only screens are available at a reduced cost and meet the needs of a broader customer base.
