Crestron, a world leading manufacturer of home automation and smart lighting solutions, have in the past few days announced that they will be showcasing a trio of lighting control solutions at the upcoming Light Fair International trade show.
Light Fair International is the world’s largest architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. Crestron’s demonstrations at the show will include their new SpaceBuilder 3.0 software, their SolarSync Temperature Daylight Sensor and the way Steinel presence sensors can now be integrated with Crestron’s industry leading commercial lighting control solutions.
Crestron SpaceBuilder is the company’s end-to-end lighting control design and delivery solution, and its third generation will be unveiled at Light Fair International.
The enhanced version of the software has been designed to remove ‘complex startups while maximizing system features’, according to the company. The software, too, supports more hardware options including expanded interfaces and Steinel presence sensors.
SolarSync is Crestron’s new daylight sensor with correlated colour temperature (CCT) and a luminous intensity meter. The sensor is designed to analyse the colour temperature of the ambient light and direct the indoor lighting to automatically match the detected colour when mounted outdoors or in an area exposed to plenty of natural light.
That means that indoor lighting can ‘match the colour and intensity of the sunlight throughout the day, or create artistic lighting scenes that make midnight feel like a sunny afternoon’, according to Crestron.
At Light Fair International, too, Crestron will demonstrate for the first time how Steinel presence sensors can be fully integrated into a Crestron lighting control system. The sensors deliver unsurpassed features, quality, and reliability, and the ability to integrate them with Crestron systems comes thanks to a partnership between Crestron and Steinel America.
