Global leaders in automation, smart control and audio visual solutions, Crestron, were honoured with no fewer than 26 industry awards at last week’s InfoComm 2017. InfoComm is the largest professional audio visual show in North America, one of the largest in the world and was the venue for the launch of a range of new Crestron products.
Some of those newly debuted products, including the Crestron Mercury table top presentation solution, AVIA Audio Solution DSPs and Amplifiers and DMPS 3-Series Presentation Systems, accounted for the company’s 26 awards which encompassed a variety of categories.
Following InfoComm 2017, Crestron’s chief technology officer Fred Bargetzi spoke of the company’s pride at being so roundly honoured:
‘Crestron is extremely proud and honoured [sic] to be recognized by the AV industry for a company-best twenty-six awards at InfoComm 2017…These awards are validation of the hard work and ingenuity of the hundreds of engineers and visionaries in our R&D labs. They share a passion and relentless commitment to push the boundaries of what’s possible and anticipate our customers’ needs.’
As well as awards for the aforementioned newly launched products, Crestron also won rAVe Reader’s Choice Awards for Favourite Manufacturer-Based Training Program, Favourite Control / Signal Processing Manufacturer and Favourite Overall Systems Product for the company’s DigitalMedia brand.
What’s more, the company described themselves as ‘honoured to receive a prestigious 2017 GPA Global Excellence Award’. Those awards are given annually to the leading audio, video, and UC manufacturers and vendors who show the highest level of commitment to delivering a superior experience worldwide.
