Extron Electronics, a world leading manufacturer and provider of audio visual solutions, have this week announced the immediate availability of a new series of 4K/60 scaling switchers.
Named the IN1804 Series, the new products are described as compact four-input scalers that provide state-of-the-art video scaling, switching and integration features. According to Extron, too, the scalers impressive range of features mean that they ‘set a new benchmark standard for the industry’.
Extron’s announcement of the new IN1804 Series explained that all of the scalers within the new range support HDMI 2.0 data rates up to 18 Gbps and incorporate the Extron-exclusive Vector 4K scaling engine. That scaling engine has 4:4:4 chroma sampling and 30-bit internal video processing for best-in-class image quality.
Able to provide performance and flexibility to support the most demanding presentation environments, the new scalers also offer a host of additional features. Those include seamless switching effects, logo keying, still image recall, and optional twisted pair capability.
