Extron Electronics, a market leading company in the audio visual field, have in the past few days introduced a new range of Network Button Panels, which they claim deliver Ethernet connected and fully customisable AV control.
The new product family are called NBP Series Network Button Panels and brings convenient, easy-to-deploy control to a broad variety of AV applications, according to Extron’s announcement.
The customisable and easy to use network button panels connect to a control processor using standard Ethernet and work in conjunction with Extron’s IP Link Pro control processor, HC 403, or HC 404 to perform a wide variety of AV system functions.
Amongst those possible functions are display On/Off, input switching, volume control, and many more. The panels also offer the convenience of PoE – Power over Ethernet, which allows them to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable.
For ease of customisation, users of the new NBP Series Network Button Panels have the option of using Extron Button Label Generator software or using the company’s online Custom Button Builder application.
Speaking in light of the announcement of the new range, Extron’s vice president of global sales and marketing Casey Hall explained what the new panels offer to users:
‘Our new Network Button Panels are another way we are bringing easy-to-use, and easy-to-deploy AV control solutions to our customers…NBP Series panels allow you to extend control over your network, basically eliminating distance limitations between the panels and the processor.’
