Extron Electronics, a leading company within the fields of audio visual technology and enterprise solutions, have recently announced the immediate availability of a new wall mounted touchpanel.
Named the Extron TLP Pro 525M 5″ wall mount TouchLink Pro touchpanel, the new product is described as being ideal for any environment requiring a stylish, wall-mountable touchpanel with a fully-customisable control interface.
According to the company, they have redesigned this and their range of other recently released TouchLink Pro touchpanels inside and out to give them a range of new features and benefits.
Those include a new, high-performance quad-core processor, eight times more memory, and an 800×480 capacitive touchscreen built with scratch and smudge-resistant edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass.
The TLP Pro 525M, what’s more, also features the convenience of PoE – Power over Ethernet, which allows it to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable. All of that leads Extron to describe the touchpanel as having been ‘built for today with an eye on the future’.
Extron’s vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, Casey Hall, expanded on that idea by explaining just what it is that the TLP Pro 525M offers to Extron customers:
‘This new TLP Pro 525M touchpanel satisfies customer requests for the same sleek design and edge-to-edge glass as our 7″ model, but in a more compact size…Inside, you’ll find the same enhanced processing power and memory; and of course we gave it super-tough Gorilla Glass to make sure it is as robust as it is stylish.’
