Extron Electronics, a world leading manufacturer of audio visual technology and enterprise solutions, has this week introduced a new easy to install 7” touchpanel. Named the TLP Pro 725C, Extron describe the new product as a 7″ Series/2 Cable Cubby TouchLink Pro Touchpanel with a flip-up touchscreen built into an all metal cable access enclosure.
According to Extron, the TLP Pro 725C has been redesigned inside and out with a high-performance quad-core processor, eight times more memory, and a higher resolution, 1024×600 capacitive touchscreen. That touchscreen, too, is built with scratch and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass to give the touchpanel greater durability and a longer life, even with consistent use.
Also designed to allow for a variety of different AV connections, the TLP Pro 725C is built into a Cable Cubby access enclosure. That means that it offers convenient access to AC or USB power, data and a plethora of other alternatives.
The touchpanel can be quickly and easily installed without the need for additional parts or tools, thanks to a simple, integrated clamp system which quickly secures the enclosure to a furniture surface.
All of that makes the new 7” touchpanel a really exciting addition to Extron’s product line, according to vice president of sales and marketing, Casey Hall:
‘We designed the TLP Pro 725C in answer to customer requests for a flip-up Cable Cubby-style touchpanel with all the latest, powerful TouchLink Pro features… In addition to providing all the powerful control features of our other TouchLink Pro touchpanels, the TLP Pro 725C also has integrated cable and power access with plenty of options for most AV, data, and power needs.’
