Extron Electronics, a global leader in audio visual technology, announced at the beginning of this week that they are now shipping their new TLP Pro 1025T 10” Tabletop TouchLink Pro Touchpanel.
According to Extron, they have entirely redesigned the new sleek touchpanel inside and out with a new, high-performance quad-core processor, eight times more memory and an impressive touchscreen. That higher resolution 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen is built with scratch and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, and a distinctive enclosure with a sleek, gracefully-sweeping back.
On top of those major features, the new TLP Pro 1025T also boasts the convenience of PoE – Power over Ethernet, which allows it to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable. All of that, according to Extron’s shipping announcement, makes the new touchpanel ideal for ‘any environment requiring a stylish, tabletop touchpanel with a fully-customizable [sic] interface’.
The internal improvements made to the redesigned touchpanel allow it to more quickly load background graphics and to more crisply flip pages. What’s more, the performance enhancements also provide ample memory and processing power to support exciting new features and capabilities in the future via firmware updates.
Casey Hall, Extron’s vice president of sales and marketing, succinctly explained the appeal of the new TLP Pro 1025T 10” Touchpanel:
‘We designed these new TLP Pro 1025T touchpanels with a number of significant enhancements in both performance and style…We boosted processing power, memory, and graphics, then wrapped it all in a sleek enclosure that simply looks stunning.’
