World renowned manufacturers of lighting and shade control solutions, Lutron Electronics, have this week expanded their popular HomeWorks QS System Platform with the addition of a brand new Palladiom style thermostat.
The company’s Palladiom line of products already included keypads and other accessories, and is now rounded out by the new thermostat. According to the company, the availability of the new thermostat can provide Lutron users with:
‘An understated, elegant aesthetic throughout the home by coordinating the thermostat with Palladiom keypads and accessories.’
In order to provide that elegant aesthetic, the Palladium thermostat – along with other items in the range – features buttons and faceplates made of the same material (glass, plastic or metal) in order to create a sleek clean and coordinated finish.
The thermostat, too, includes attractive backlit buttons that featured engraved text and which are simple to operate and easy to find in a darkened room. What’s more, animated heating and cooling icons on the LED display indicate when the system is running.
As well as boasting debonair design, the new Palladiom thermostat also delivers simple installation and integration, according to Lutron. That’s because it is compatible with conventional 5-wire forced air systems and fan coil units and features remote temperature sensors and compatibility with the Lutron Connect App amongst other innovations.
It is the aesthetic of the thermostat which is its real USP, however, at least according to Lutron’s director of residential business, Rich Black:
‘The new Palladiom thermostat, paired with our coordinating Palladiom keypads and accessories, reinforces our heritage in design and expands the product palette for the popular Palladiom aesthetic.’
