Monitor Audio, a world leading manufacturer and provider of speakers and other audio solutions, have recently exhibited two of their newest product lines at the major CEDIA 2018 trade show in San Diego, California.
Alongside a range of their existing solutions and systems, Monitor Audio used the CEDIA 2018 show to demonstrate their brand-new CLG-W10 garden subwoofer and their equally novel V240-LV architectural loudspeakers.
Monitor Audio’s CLG-W10 Subwoofer is a new addition to the company’s Climate Garden System of outdoor loudspeakers that have been designed to take Monitor Audio’s award-winning hi-fi audio into the garden. The subwoofer is weather resistant and can be buried into the ground or mounted onto a surface to offer greater flexibility.
The CLG-W10 features a bespoke Inverted Cone Driver that utilises a rigid dome diaphragm to deliver powerful, punchy bass. The inverted dome ensures any water that enters the mesh vents will drain away and, thanks to its ceramic coating, the C-CAM is impervious to moisture and tough environmental conditions.
Monitor Audio’s new V240-LV speakers, meanwhile, art of Monitor Audio’s Vecta interior/exterior range of architectural loudspeakers. They are designed to be simply installed in places where other speaker choices would prove impractical.
At CEDIA 2018, Monitor Audio displayed the V240s in a new cluster configuration, which was made possible by the innovative LV version of the speakers. That special configuration delivers near 360º audio, using a specially developed V-CLUSTER bracket.
