Art Canvas Stereo Systems that Look as Good as they Sound
Mrs Clevely was introduced to SoundArt via Grand Design. These are sound systems with the speakers hidden inside art canvases. Impressed with the sound quality and the option to have any artwork of her choice on the canvasses, she immediately contacted Couture Digital to specify seven systems for the renovation of her luxury ski lodge in the French Alps.
The interior theme of the lodge was “Ski Safari” and a lot of natural elements were being used. Choosing a selection of stunning images from The Nature Picture Library – a division of the BBC wildlife archive – Couture Digital supplied a low resolution PDF of each image with the crop line to show exactly what would be on the face of the canvas, and where it would wrap to the sides. Happy with the how the canvasses would look, the images were then printed, and the finished systems delivered within 10 days. To ensure the sound systems were easy to use, Couture Digital coupled them with iPod docks so guests could simply drop their iPod into them and immediately start enjoying their music.
