Savant, a world leading company within the smart home technology niche, have recently announced that they are introducing a new suite of integrated entry solutions, which allow for live video communication and control from anywhere in the world.
The new suite of solutions enable Savant homeowners to see and communicate with anyone who approaches an entry point such as the front door, side door, garage or gate. All control and video capabilities of the solutions are accessible via Savant’s Pro 8 interface app.
New entry services have been introduced as part of the recently rolled out 8.9 version of that software, and enable homeowners to receive notifications within the Savant Pro App’s secure encrypted cloud connection.
It is also possible, via the newly updated app, for Savant homeowners to communicate via video intercom with anyone who approaches an entry point or simply monitor the status of an entry point, even without anyone ringing the bell. The new entry solutions are designed to work both from inside the home or remotely all from within the Savant Pro 8 App for iOS and Android devices.
To complement those new solutions, Savant have also partnered with 2N to develop a unique entry point experience, with best-in-class hardware engineered to work seamlessly within the Savant ecosystem. That hardware includes a small single-station solution with a doorbell and video camera or a larger interface with a keypad.
Speaking in light of the company introducing their new entry solutions, Savant CEO Robert Madonna explained how the firm used their expertise in creating those solutions:
‘We were able to leverage our unique background in telecom services to create the Entry Point software…We are confident that these remote entry products and services will address consumer demand and provide integrators with a compelling, secure solution for their clients.’
