Savant, a world leading creator of home automation and smart control solutions, have in the past few days released version 8.8 of their home automation software. Updates to the software platform include an enhanced user interface making access to music easier and new personalisation capabilities enabling integrators to deliver a fine-tuned experience that can be tailored by the client.
The Savant 8.8 software platform now offers the company’s Savant Music 2.0 music server experience, which has been redesigned from the ground up. According to Savant, the new music suite provides improved reliability, speed, easier navigation, pre-set recall and song queues.
Savant Music 2.0 also features redesigned app control screens and has a brand new equaliser screen. That innovation allows users to fine tune the sound on supported devices, whilst streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn, Tidal and Deezer are now also supported by the suite.
Away from music control, Savant’s Pro 8 App for iOS has also been redesigned as part of the 8.8 software update. Savant claim that the redesign was aimed to deliver a fresher, lighter design for entertainment services. A new compact home selector is also included, to allow users with multiple Savant controlled homes to more easily switch their app between the properties.
Finally, Savant have also improved their popular TrueImage interface. It now includes white temperature settings for specific and popular colour temperatures from 2700K to 6000k, as well as a slider interface allowing users to select exact RGB values to achieve the right colour for each environment.
