Stewart Filmscreen, a leading innovator in the field of professional projection screens and projection screen materials, have recently announced that they will be demonstrating a new version of their already innovative Balόn Borderless projection screen at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 tech show.
The newly enhanced version of the projection screen is able to provide a contemporary “floating image” appearance thanks to its combination of cutting edge technology and intelligent design. Most notably, a unique bevelled frame structure allows the film screen material to seamlessly wrap around the frame and snap smoothly into place, thereby eliminating any visible edge, border, or masking around the screen according to Stewart Filmscreen.
Like many of the company’s top end solutions, the Balόn Borderless screen also utilises Stewart Filmscreen’s EZ-Mount Bracket and Telescoping Wall Mount Systems to expedite installation and ensure a consistently level image.
What’s more, a completely smooth side profile and an ultra-narrow thickness of just 0.97-inch (25 mm) or 1.10 inches (28 mm) if back bracing is required, focuses the audience’s attention on the high fidelity image presented on the screen’s surface for a more immersive entertainment experience.
The new and improved version of Balόn Borderless which will be displayed at ISE 2018 also features an LED Light Kit that easily facilitates optional LED backlighting. That is one of a number of tweaks which have improved performance of the newest version of the projection screen, according to Stewart Filmscreen CEO Shannon Townley:
‘The new Balόn Borderless screen is really an exercise in refinement… A borderless screen has to be perfect, and we’re introducing even more design details to Balόn to make it look impeccable – whether it’s lit up or not in use. Of course, you can add any of Stewart’s award winning screen materials to dial it in to the environment. We think the international audience at ISE18 will want to see this beautiful screen in action.’
