Universal Remote Control (URC) Incorporated, a world renowned innovator and manufacturer of home automation devices, have in the past week announced the raft of products and software solutions they will demonstrate at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 tech show.
Those numerous solutions are set to include the company’s new Total Control 2.0 automation operating system, MX HomePro, and Z-wave based products, such as lighting, motorised shades, and security devices, providing two-way control.
The Total Control 2.0 smart control solution offers far greater speeds to integrators and end users than its predecessor, and also features a full graphical update, a new user interface and advanced logic. That advanced logic allows for the introduction of “if”, “and”, “then”, and “or” commands. URC have also recently announced the availability of a free demo app for Total Control 2.0, available for iOS and Android devices.
URC MX HomePro is a cloud-based smart home control system which incorporates a smart hub, remote control, and mobile app. That offers users one-touch control of home entertainment and IoT devices including lighting, thermostats, security cameras, and Z-Wave products.
Speaking of which, both MX HomePro and Total Control 2.0 are compatible with the new Z-Wave gateway. That expands the system control for Z-Wave based products, such as lighting, motorised shades, and security devices, providing two-way control, which will also be displayed at ISE 2018 between the 6th and the 9th February.
