Universal Remote Control Inc. (URC), a global leader in home automation and smart control solutions, have in the past few days announced their intended activities at the soon to begin CES 2018 tech show.
Due to begin tomorrow (9th January), CES 2018 is one of the most prestigious and largest tech shows of the entire year, and URC will be present with a number of product demonstrations as well as a notable sponsorship arrangement.
The company will be hosting live demonstration of a whole host of their different home automation solutions at the show’s main Z-Wave Pavilion within the Sands Expo Convention Centre. They are, what’s more, a proud sponsor of the event’s Women in Consumer Technology Legacy Reception.
Amongst the URC solutions set to be on display at CES 2018 are the company’s Total Control 2.0 and MX HomePro smart home control systems. Both of those systems boast Z-Wave connectivity, enabled by the URC TRF-ZW2 Z-Wave Gateway, which expands URC system control for Z-Wave based products such as lighting, thermostats and door locks.
Launched during the course of 2017, Total Control 2.0 features next-generation user interfaces and custom onscreen graphics plus a host of amazing new features. MX HomePro, meanwhile, is a system designed to control entertainment plus smart home technology, including many popular IoT devices. In order to best showcase the latter system, associated devices including the MXHP-R500 Handheld Remote Control and MXHP-H500 Smart Hub will also be demonstrated at CES 2018.
