Universal Remote Control (URC), a world leading manufacturer of smart control and home automation solutions, have in the past few days announced the introduction of a new URC Total Control 2.0 module for IP control of all 2018 LG UHD TVs.
The new and robust module supports the full control command set for all 2018 LG UHD TVs, including the manufacturer’s hugely popular LG OLED and LG Super UHD TV models.
That enables a wide range of customisation possibilities, including an extensive selection of macro integration possibilities. What’s more, it also offers direct launch options for end user Net Service Applications, such as Netflix, YouTube and Hulu.
The new module, therefore, twins the truly personalised control offered by URC Total Control systems and the lifelike 4K picture quality which is the hallmark of LG OLED, Super UHD and UHD TVs.
Unsurprisingly, then, URC senior vice president and general manager, Doug Cole, was excited to speak about his company’s collaboration with LG:
‘We are pleased to partner with LG to provide our mutual customers in the custom installation space with extraordinary home theater [sic], single-room entertainment and whole-house distributed video experiences.’
