Universal Remote Control Inc. (URC), a world leading home automation and smart control manufacturer, have in the past week announced that they have been awarded not one but two prestigious industry awards. Two of a number of accolades bestowed upon the company’s new home automation systems and solutions, this pair was namely the 2017 TecHome Brilliance Home Automation System Award and a 2018 Dealerscope !mpact Award.
The TecHome Brilliance Awards, which in 2017 were presented in Phoenix, Arizona, recognise the growing demand by homeowners for innovative solutions from builders and tech companies that “wow” and work in their homes. As such, URC’s senior vice president and general manager, Doug Cole, was understandably delighted that the company’s Total Control 2.0 home automation system had been named a winner:
‘URC is pleased to be recognized [sic] alongside other top brands that appeal to discerning homeowners and impact today’s residential market such as Broan, Delta, Kwikset, LG Electronics, Lutron and Whirlpool. Prewiring and installing a Total Control system and commercial grade router in a new or remodelled home is an ideal choice for builders and homeowners looking for premium, reliable smart home automation and control.’
Dealerscope !mpact Awards recognise products in the consumer electronics industry that are not only impactful from a technology standpoint, but which also drive sales in showrooms and on retail floors, giving consumers a reason to visit the retail location.
During the award selection process, consumer electronics manufacturers, distributors and retailers are invited to nominate and vote on products that they believe are deserving of recognition, and the URC Total Control 2.0 system was named a winner, whilst URC’s TDC-7100 table top touchscreen controller received honourable mention.
